In honor of Thanksgiving, we are offering the "Thanksgiving Fun Scholarship!" To apply, all you need to do is create your own artistic "ode" to the humble turkey! Use your creative skills to draw, paint, digitally illustrate or use some sort of mixed media to create your turkey, and then share your artwork on social media - how fun is that?? If you aren't an artist, that's okay! Your turkey can be a gorgeous rendition, or it can be a goofy interpretation of the season's favorite fowl! We will be selecting THREE winners who will each receive a $750 scholarship!
Hi, my name is Mady! I am so excited to be selected for this scholarship. I found this scholarship on a website called BrokeScholar. I plan on going to IUPUC for Nursing. With this scholarship, I can pursue my dream of helping people as an RN!
A few months back I found ScholarshipOwl through researching for scholarships. I found the website the most beneficial with their membership and how interactive they are with their Instagram and discord! I was really looking forward to hearing about the results for the Thanksgiving Fun Scholarship as it was the first membership that I had applied to in a while and had a bit of hope! I happened to see the notification while I was looking at directions while driving and I was so thrilled to tell my close friends and family! I will be putting the winning money towards my general college funds for this coming Spring semester!
I heard about the thanksgiving fun scholarship through scholarship owl. When I read the description I knew it was right up my ally. I love creating in any media but drawing, sculpting and painting aren't exactly my forte, so when I heard I won I was shocked and so so thankful. This is the first scholarship I've heard back from and winning makes it seem real that I can actually earn enough money to make college affordable because frankly, the endless essay writing and video making all began to feel futile. Though I don't know where I'll be attending next fall quite yet, I've applied to many four year universities, primarily in the northeast, at which I plan to study political science and public policy.
